On November 16, 2023, UPAC was honored for Leading the Way for Equitable Health Access at the Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan’s Leading the Way Inaugural Awards Program. The event held at The Prado in Balboa Park was attended by: Margaret Iwanaga Penrose, President & CEO, Josh Zhang, Director of Mental Health Services, Lisa Bertelle, Director of Mental Health Services and Katie Boatman, Public Relations and Fund Raising Manager.
